The Journal of Shonda Chrissonberry not quite 55
03/19/2005 04:01 a.m.
I was randomly browsing some fellow d'landers a bit ago, and came across something on an "extra's" page. It was titled: 55 Adjectives. This person listed 55 adjectives that described her. I thought... this sounds interesting, I might just try this.
Unfortunately, I was unable to come up with the required number myself(go figure), so I asked others. Just a bit of advice ~ be careful what you ask for, and take it as it is given to you. So here goes:
Given by me:
#1 spiritual #2 introverted #3 average #4 grey-eyed #5 fat #6 Pathetic *wink,wink* #7 blessed #8 thankful #9 educated #10 discontent #11 moral #12 poetic #13 intelligent #14 independent #15 human #16 compassionate #17 short-tempered #18 single #19 loved #20 goal-oriented #21 anal retentive #22 depressed #23 lonely #24 shy
Given by my co-worker:
#25 melancholy #26 crispy(running joke in the office) #27 weird
Given by Nannie:
#28 loveable #29 pleasant #30 argumentative
Given by Taylor, my 8 year-old nephew:
#31 crazy(the good auntie-like crazy) #32 long-haired
Given by Dora Jean, my 5 year-old niece:
#33 cool #34 funny #35 awesome #36 big #37 prayerful(this one made my heart skip a beat) #38 pretty #39 good #40 great
Given by Daddy:
#41 goosey(gotta love him)
Given by Momma:
#42 giving #43 pickey #44 demanding #45 sheltering #46 loving
Given by my brother:
#47 Christian
Given by my sister-in-law:
#48 particular
See #2 for the reason only family members were asked.
I think the most valuable lesson I learned from all of this, especially after reading back over what everyone said was: I was able to see myself through other's eyes. And I had to take the good with the bad. (kinda like standing naked in front of a full body mirror~well, maybe not ~ because that is all bad)
Any of you out there want to add something, please feel free. And be honest. As honest as cyber-friends can be.
After all ~ I am perfectly me! I am currently Playful
I am listening to lullaby ~ the cure.

You are beautiful, spiritual, intelligent, very kind, too hard on yourself, a tad too insecure, and you have a splendid soul. You need to believe in yourself as much as your family and ME believe in you. Your worth is not measured by your looks. Though if it was, you'd still me worthy of more than most. With your spirit though, you are perfect. You are perfectly you and I love that the most. =) |

Had to correct my typo. Also, I just wanted to add that you are one of the best persons I have ever had the pleasure to know. Though we only know each other through miles on this screen, I care very much for you. You are a blessing to this world, so you better start believing it! |

| Posted by Paul Marino on 03/22/05 at 12:03 AM i think you're "encouraging", a savior to my fragile ego when i need it the most. so you're also "angelic". so there you have number 49 and 50. |

| Posted by Charles M Harrison on 03/22/05 at 03:00 AM Just for a moment think of yourself as God would. Since he made you do you thing he would use any negative adjatives to descride you, his creation. Remember you are perfectly you because he made you perfect. |
