10 more days until Shane comes home! I can't wait, I miss him so freaking much. His mom called me yesterday. She really misses him too. I feel kind of bad for her because all her kids are growing up and she's like the best mom ever. Oh the phone yesterday she said, "Well, I'm gonna clean up his room for him...not that he'll be staying here, he'll probably stay with you...ya know, they just get to a certain age where moms aren't as important anymore." She sounded so sad. Maybe just nostalgic. I didn't tell Shane I got a Mercedes, I'm just going to pick him up at the airport and say "oh, let's take the fancy car." tra la la. Going out for a fabulous beer on St. Patrick's day with Adri, it'll be awesome. We went last year, but I accidentally drank a little more than I meant to and had to go back to school tipsy. But all I had was JPC 101, so it didn't matter. Alaska may not have much in the way of culture, but we have fucking awesome beer. Microbrewing is the Alaskan pastime.
