The Journal of Madeline Pestolesi

I have just written two pages on the subject of the U.S. acquisition of the Philippines without giving all that much actual information on the U.S. acquisition of the Philippines. This will not help my journalism skills. But that's what summer classes are all about. Skirting subjects to do the least amount of work possible. If you can believe it, I had a full load this summer. I got 9 credits for writing 16 crappy two-page-double-spaced history papers. It was a telecourse. I never had to go to class. I didn't watch a video or read a book. For all the essays, I just researched on the internet. (I read a lot of different sites to make sure they were accurate.) My other 3 credits were for stained glass, which was basically a bunch of people hanging out making windows every thursday. The people in that class made a lot of penis jokes, but I enjoyed it. (Everyone likes penis jokes, even if they don't admit it.)

Sometimes a little B.S. (or in this case, a lot) will go a long way.

I am currently better than I was earlier
I am listening to Drunk neighbors (yup, same ones, still)
