and that sounds like your screaming
after a terrible nightmare
because i want to
make you feel all the hurt
that i go to sleep to

that makes you feel like your heart's internal bomb
has just exploded
and you are taken to another planet
on your rocketship of guilt

i want to write a poem
that makes you remember every time
you thought you were in love with me
and every time you told yourself
that you'd feel that forever

i want to write a poem
that for one moment makes you as miserable
as i am every day
without you
