The Journal of Rula Shin Good Friday (10:33 a.m.)
04/09/2004 02:35 p.m.
Why is it that loneliness sometimes increases in the presence of other human beings?
I know why.
Woman #2 and #3 whisper incessantly in my ears. And while I bleed from their taunts, there is comfort in the pain. Pain seems the only redemption and, somehow, I keep coming back to this conclusion...how to get beyond this?
I know how.
Practice...if only motivation wasn't the key.
I am currently Pathetic
I am listening to Barber - Adagio for Strings

| Posted by Ashok Sharda on 04/13/04 at 05:04 PM The human presence is only meaningful when vibrations are transmitted and recieved both ways. otherwise its like being lonely in a crowd. Associations might add to the intensity of loneliness. In the situation, you have described in your JE, its owing to the conflict. Neither of the W's are at home owing to the ongoing battle. Each fighting for the attention, the medium through which they would interact with their world. This conflict does cause pain. But then this also the only prrof of the fact that you are ALIVE and this gives you this feeling of redemption. The only solace any LIVING BEING can have, till one attains ONENESS within. |

| Posted by Ashok Sharda on 04/14/04 at 02:32 PM Well, I forgot to deal with your question-how to get beyond this? The only course in my openion is to get into conflict with each of your unwanted selves with a predetermined decision to come out a sure WINNER. Once you resist the lure those selves offer you and the arguments they produce in justification of their presence, you are sure to WIN their associations, the energy source. The path to inner unity is always through conflict, which makes you feel ALIVE. Motivation/impressions does help us in the sence that they generate positive energies. |
