that we will reveal the secret underpinnings of our souls to complete strangers, but can't say how we feel to the people with live and work with every day, those we supposedly love and those who supposedly love us, too... The girl you pass on the street stays the girl you pass on the street, the pizza guy stays the pizza guy, your father is just Dad and nothing stays, nothing lasts, and there's never anyone to call the world-game on account of rain. All of us in our snail-shell selves of secret wants and desperation, everyone chirping like mad with cricket-legs in the throes of auto-asphyxiation, and everyone deaf.
