Consumerism to the extreme
12/25/2003 10:30 p.m.
It was not until this year that I really realized the massive wastefulness that is Christmas. I am not going to lie and pretend I didn't want to get anything or that I didn't ask for anything, but there are so many things I don't need. Oh well. I remember when I was on exchange and in Hungary, the spirit of Christmas is having fun with friends and family and receiving a small gift or two, not this massive consumption we have in the US. It makes me sad that we waste so much when there is so much people need. On totally contradictory terms, I got a Kitchen Aid mixer from my grandparents and I'm really excited about that. I think it was probably the only thing I wanted.

I'm glad Christmas is over. I was getting really sick of Christmas carols. Ok, so it's music about Christmas, but hasn't anyone noticed that it's bad music? And they never come out with new music, just covers of old songs. I'm just tired of it.

I'm the Grinch.
I am currently Brooding
I am listening to X Men 2
