The Journal of Dana E Brossard

I find myself in the Middle East, feeling very lonely with only a few friends whome I see from time to time, working with a bunch of guys who don't know what they are doing. Food is all right, three hot meals a day. Sleep is troubled, but at least I'm dry and sort of warm. I just want to go home and be with my wife, but that's not going to happen until sometime next year. I hope everyone enjoys their holidays family and friends.
I am currently Tired
I am listening to The Sound of Heavy Equipment

This moved me so, when I found it just now in the wee hours of a Canadian morning, that I had to comment. I hope everyone who reads it realizes the treasure of being home safe with their loved ones, and meditates, prays, whatever they do, for you and all those you represent, in this situation. And for your wife and relatives. You give us a true capture of the reality of war from a bird's eye view. Blessings
