Realizing the photo/poem project?

I've been postponing the photo/poem project far too long. I was planning on taking a photo with the idea of an poem in mind but I think I'll try to take some of my recent photos and try to accopmany them with a poem even though they weren't really taken with a poem in mind.

I'm mulling over how to combine two hobbies of mine, poetry and photography. I'm planning to do a mixture of both, eithe by writing a poem about a photo or trying to photograph a poem.

How does that sound to you, invisible readers?

Have you ever tried this? Did it work?

I will report later on how it's going... *************** I can't comment on my entries? Anyway... Thanks Shonda. I really liked your poetry with the pics. I'm gonna try and hopefully do as well as you. Yes, Jim, I will.

A quiet evening

reading about bitter and vain journal entries in the General Forum brings me to write this entry. I'm just sitting at the computer in the livingroom (yes, I have more than one but in my defense, I'm a professional computer nerd), quietly drinking Icelandic brewski and trying to ignore the kids programme on TV.

Life is good and one should enjoy every moment of it!

Well, I'm back. Poetry is trying to burst out of me and I have to put it somewhere. It's been almost a year since I wrote something - existence can be too stressful at times.

I wonder. I actually thought so when I joined but most people here don't read me.
Strange!

But I rest my case (and thus popularity) with the fact that quality is not quantity. I am a really good poet although nobody reads me.
