The Journal of Michael Anthony a Pathetic effort

I stop in like you’re the joint down the street
On my way home.
Staying to the dark and quiet I watch you
with the same commitment I give the CNN scroll.
I’ ve got more than that but I don’t trust it in the open.
Oh there’s been a few, we can call them one - nighters,
Times when I gave something back. When the filet and Tanguray you serve
don’t taste like beer and a burger. We had sex in the back stairway
my pants at my knees, because without clothes you’ll
see I shaved all my body hair and that’s too naked.
A condition I’m afraid to be seen in.
I’m really trying because I know soon the doors will be locked,
the window on the sidewalk side will be painted over
and I’ll cry “I should have.”
I am currently Bummed
