A mediocre day finished with a flourish and many mosquito bites. We WILL do it. Myra has the recipe from Ramirez's folks that came in for the funeral and she watched his grandmother make them Navajo Fly bread. It is rude to ask for the recipe, they consider it sacred because of the story behind it, the awful walk. We've determined to do it at a hen party soon. Just nobody like my My. Friends like this are a gift from God. I know our prayers tonight were heard, he was the third person standing with us on the porch to worship and let our petitions be known. God is so awesome.

Wow. Scott Utley made my day. If you read this Scott, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made me smile sooooo big inside. I hope your garden endeavors make you bloom just like you made my smile bloom. And don't worry, Jesus is the very air I breathe and His love (that I received so wonderfully well from you) never fails for all those guys and gals. Wow. Between Scott and Worthy, my sense of being worth something in the middle of a tremendous attack of worthlessness is being restored. Rush with Robin Williams movie was wonderful. what an awesome movie. So much heartbreak in my home. One of my girls, she calls me Mom, I had to tell something I'd rather in a million years never had to do. I couldn't risk keeping silent. She had to know, be able to make wise informed choices. All I could do was cry and tell. Grab her hands and pray with and for her. Be there for her if she needs me.... What awful messes we can make with our lives. Yet, God keeps the light on. I am currently Calm

We had some weather. County Line got the worst. War zone. 90K folks (25% of entergy's customer base per Katherine) without power and they're saying a few days before it's restored. So many horror stories. boss sending us home early.

Ewwwww
I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. last two mornings woke up 1:30-2:00ish and up for an hour aching all over. last night was the worst. my skin was just sore to the touch. I'm doing pretty ok today as long as I keep tylenol in my system every 4 hours and mucinex to loosen the phlegm. argggh made it this long, first cold i've had all winter. Least I'm not even 1/3 as bad as Erin, Jonathan and Chip have been with it.
Watched the mist last night. ending really sucked. watched i am legend night before and loved it. edge of your seat from the lioness strike scene on. may watch it again tonight if the kids will let me, lol. i can tell chip's wanting to start campaigning for me to come down, but i get to feeling so bad in the evenings...ugh...
megan's still wanting us all to go to the acquarium of the america's/zoo/boatride in new orleans sunday, but i'm very much po folks at the moment and really shouldn't even if i felt alright.

Katherine was so cute... in the hall... "alert! alert!" stopping at my door fanning her open mouth to warn me about the deer sausage Mr. Ellis brought. Wonder if it's because she was raised yankee? It's just right! That amount of heat is required just to keep it from being bland.... mmmm mmmm mmmmm
I do love deer sausage. Just right. perfect.
Mama called me again yesterday before lunch wanting vitals. Called again last night. So kewl to talk to her again. Please heal her blood problem, Jesus. I am currently Blessed
