The Journal of Shonda Chrissonberry I'm a human barometer
10/12/2004 02:26 a.m.
Today's weather report brought to you by:
Shonda's knee.
My knee started hurting last Wednesday night. When I got to work Thursday morning, my co-worker asked me if it was going to rain. I said yes. It started raining that night and has not stopped.
Neither has the pain in my knee.
Rain, Pain go away.
You don't have to come again some other day.
And if you do, I'm gonna pay!
Who needs the weatherman when I have my knee.
I am currently Thunderstruck
I am listening to my television in the background.

Missin' some trains
10/11/2004 03:58 a.m.
Everyone around me is getting married, having babies, and living life.
I seemed to have missed those trains.
Only thing I can figure is I must have been asleep at the station.
Anyone know if I can renew my tickets?
I will gladly pay full price.
I am currently Sarcastic
I am listening to the rain slapping my window.

This is my Friday?
10/09/2004 02:01 a.m.
Today has been a weird kinda day.
Here is the synopsis:
gay compliment(given to me, not about me)~frenzy of work~rain~popcorn lunch~angry co-worker~rain~wal-mart fight where my cashier leaves to see what is going on and never comes back (where could she have gone?)~have I mentioned the rain~dinner with folks~crazy, hyper dogs~throbbing headache~yearning for brainrest
And yes, it is still raining!
*sigh*
Calgon take me away. (of course,I would end up drowning~ better stick to the shower~then again I could always slip and break my neck~argh!)
Does it ever end? It should be against the laws of nature for one to have a Friday like this. I am currently Jumbled

Lonely Inanimate Objects
10/07/2004 03:22 p.m.
Reality gave me a swift, hard slap in the face this morning.
I have the "singles" fridge.
I was reaching in to retrieve a couple of diet sodas for work, and noticed that what was left in the aftermath was a small tub of butter and some condiments.
A small tub of butter and some condiments ~ How sad is that?
Of course let's not forget my Arm & Hammer. He is always present.
Then I got to thinking ~ maybe I could connect my lonely fridge with my lonely toothbrush & together with my lonely car, we could all just run away. Sounds like a plan.
Anyone wanna come along? I am currently Sad
I am listening to a leafblower.

Meltdown Approaching
10/07/2004 03:37 a.m.
Computer Dear, I have a problem ...
My mouse keeps on sticking. And when I toggle it enough to get it back moving ~ it resembles some Dr. Jeckyl/Mr. Hyde creature on smack. Changing from an arrow, to a hand, to a space cursor. Sure wish it would make up it's mind. It is making me dizzy.
And now my Microsoft Word is not "responding".
I am starting to lose my patience and have decided to abort all furthur missions until the morning.
I feel a meltdown approaching.
Over and out. I am currently Alienated
I am listening to the rev of my neighbor's engine @ 10:30 p.m.

Deviant Snack Cakes
10/05/2004 11:28 p.m.
Have you ever wondered where they find the people who name children's snack cakes? I do. Take a look at some of the everyday snacks made particularly for kids: Twinkies, Zingers, Ho Ho's, Snowballs, Ring Dings, Honey Buns, and let's not forget the Ding Dongs.
It is a miracle our kids make it. I say it is adult sexual frustration portrayed in innocent examples. I know they could have came up with better names than these. But would they have wanted to?
Is it safe to say that we have all eaten a ho ho/ding dong or two before? I will never tell.
Such is life. I am currently Questioning
I am listening to the knocking of my ceiling fan.

weekend litterbugs & Wendy's french fries
10/05/2004 02:40 a.m.
I brought my lunch to the fountain again today. Must have had a pretty busy weekend, because the water was full of several swimming relics that were not present on Friday. I just don't understand how people can toss their disregard for beauty out with the trash they leave behind. If you sat in one place long enough, eventually everything came floating by like toys going round and round in a child's bathtub. So I made a list of what I saw: 1 TCBY cup, 1 Firehouse Sub cup, 1 butterfly carcass, 1 cigeratte butt, 2 small plastic lids (1 orange & 1 blue), 1 orange mini m&m's tube, 2 sugar packets (still floating by the way), 1 Dasani water bottle, several small candy wrappers, and 1 black spoon that had already sank to the bottom. I left feeling a tad bit upset at people in general.
Oh and Wendy's must have new fries because the last two times I have gotten them, they are a wierd kinda crunchy. Like eating rock candy. Maybe I should stop going to that restaurant.
Toodles I am currently Troubled
I am listening to David Crowder Band ~ open skies.

Virgin Entry
10/03/2004 05:25 p.m.
I have a diary elsewhere, but I tend to revolve around daily life there. So I think this will be my child of randomness, nothingness and everythingness all at the same time. Everythingness~is that a word? I guess in my mind it has become one.
Blessed Arrival, my wee one. We will see how she grows, this child of mine. I am currently Pathetic
I am listening to the humming of my computer.
