I made a substantial edit to the second stanza of this poem. Check it out if you so desire and let me know what you think, or don't, or do and don't tell me. The possibilities are limitless! Find the poem transcribed below for your benefit/hindrance and joy/dismay!

-----

In which the Higgs Boson is used as a careless metaphor for love

It makes something palpable
out of my nervous energy,
giving mass to the masses,
weight to the ethereal.

They say it can traverse time
to stop its own observation,
leaving only quantum poets
callous enough to believe.

Either way,
it should exist.
I think it exists.
I hope it exists.
