find me over the water's surface
in the december mist dancing
in all my states of matter
my crystalline flow never
ending ever transcending
a shimmer in the icy gust
a shiver in the rising sun
sparkling in your palm as
you catch me only to melt
down your sleeve too fluid
for you to ever seize me see
I hold my own a shape boundless
broader than the horizons beyond
