Collage: The Eaten Moon

by Paul Lastovica

The birds flutter into one darkness
fallen petals turn the dew crimson

praising a great rain
after the guitar is asleep

behind clematis
on the village wall

a vision of ruins
delicate as doves

nude like flowers undone
dissolved by golden sorcery
