To see the pain

That I go through

Would be a task

So far from you

Be it

To do

Still I strive

And I pray

For the strength

To go forth

Through the knots

That you weave

The mesh

Of all sorts

You think

It is normal

For a woman

To act

In ways

To the man

Who has always

Had her back

What I do not

Is your reason

For trying

To be more than

The song

That your Soul

Can sing

I understand

You're a woman

And that a woman

Has her ways

After three kids

And 47 years

I'd come to think

You would be

With who you are

Block my number

To suit yourself

If I block yours

I'm creating

My own hell

You've destroyed

Your marriage

Now you're destroying

You and Me

One can be

A lonely number

For an eternity

Still you flirt

And you flaunt

Say there is noone

But me

Then why all the shopping

For clothes and jewelry

That I do NOT see

Your stories don't concur

Your straying eyes

Tell a story

If you can do this

To your husband

Why not to me

Hide me

From your family

Lie about me

To your friends

The only thing

I see

Is a means

To an End.
