No insulation

by Johnny Crimson

Bored in the attic
she ripped the head off her barbie.
With the G.I. Joe that I was blasting
the plastic pieces fell on her body,
the whole event was something classic.

We whisper-kissed something fancy
followed by gestures that bordered graphic.
As the motions proved quite lasting
she threw her head back into the magic.

The crescendo was so massive
but it never turned to nasty.
In fact the ending grew so static
as if it had forever been his tactic
to turn her from virgin into tragic.

Men seem born to use any tactic at hand, even those three little words, to change a girl into a woman. Unfortunately, some are in such a hurry that it runs more like Hemmingway's 'Up in Michigan' than a moment in paradise. Still a good write JC.
