love lost...lost in love?

by James Edwards

at last a smile on me
makes me happy makes me wonder
for what i thought was lost
for what i think i didnt have anymore
that that is there
refreshes my soul to the core

love if not found will be lost
love if not forged would be
well it would just be

love in caves and coves
love hidden from the most
love sham and love fast
love abundant love less
"love me and only me"
love none or hate love
all shades of love
future, present or past

seems like everything goes
and comes back
words said or even unsaid
feelings hurt unhurt
deeds done and then undone

masses throng on space limited
with every shout and cry
"for me"
do they want do they give
when one doesn't
do they forgive

what if i transcend this
what if we fly
to another world
to another dimension
and just love
with no pretension

You pulled off using that word over and over without being dull or annoying....gave me a lot to think about in addition to my own thoughts about love. I don't know about you, but sometimes I find that the specifics of the english language sometimes work against finding just the right descriptives. "Love" is one of those words I find particularly frustrating, but you've spun a decent contemplation out of it.
