by Philip F De Pinto

the boy looked down
exclaimed to the fallen snowflakes
there is safety in numbers!

at that exclamation
the snowflakes fell in line
to be crunched and condensed

into snowballs which the boy
would toss at the girl who lived across the way

Ha! Does she or doesn't she? How does one pluck a snowflakes' petals to find out? Enjoyed this very much.

I love the ending. Such a wonderful bit of story here.

Aw, now that's what I call love! Unfortunately, it is also the beginning of the mixed up crazy communication patterns the drives all of us mad, happy, dependant on self help books, addicted to anti-depressants, and authors of poems. This is an excellent poem!

Wow! So beautiful, smiles and flutters. Really nicely done. Memories of simple times.

This really made me smile. It took about two decades for me to realize the boy in 3rd grade who kept putting glue in my hair actually liked me ;)
