A Valentine Date
by Angela Nuzzo
Eros shot me in the butt.
I thought it was a pimple,
so I rubbed my sore behind
'til I noticed my date's dimple.
He just smiled and glanced away,
until I burst out laughing.
He looked back and chuckled too,
which made it all more baffling.
How could I fall in love so fast?
It couldn't be that simple!
But 20 years have come to pass
and we still smile about that "pimple."

Much more playful then that dark piece I just read. :) This piece holds a piece of you within it, nice job.
