waxing moon
a starry night
skin-breaking chill
forego the pain I will

broken core
bled feelings of remorse
incantation read
see this shattered work
of yore

black leather ribbons intertwined
around a picture of one
beneath these clouds
this white sun
events of dismay refined

arise new day
hardened veins of soul
default of this new role
this is the way

I don't know how long it took to weave this ode but the time whether long or short was worth it as you've arrived at lovely rhythms and sounds.
