suffering for stephen by Daryl FeinMy eyes cant open any further-
pupils dilate to maximum reality-
"I scared you away" was only a fane to be reasonable-
we both lost out, due to vagueries and fear-
I melted in your arms, you meant well and failed-
now we find ourselves in that all to comfy situation-
alone, to languish, and desire, others-
It is burning me, virtually with every breath-
We may have been better for eachother-
than we felt we deserved-
The last man you knew, couldnt understand-
he drained you of trust, in any man-
Now we cant dare to live that dream-
out of the fog, I pry my soul for reason-
IN THIS REALITY, WE ARE BOTH-
SUFFERING FOR STEPHEN- 01/15/2010
Author's Note: Having a second chance would make life seem tenable. But life makes certain, no one gets entirely what they want, or need.

Posted by Michael Smith on 01/16/10 at 02:23 AM Ouch. This is pretty similar to my story -- I am awestruck. What you write of here feels very painful to the reader and is stated magnificently. Thank you for sharing this, Daryl. |
