Of Reciprocity and Triangles

by Rachel Bennett

Alone, you see me in a mirror,
But when I reflect on your reflex
I find nothing on that glass.
What you perceive is
Just yours and yours justly
Echoed by hardship and panes.

I saw nothing;
I saw alone.

Author's Note: In a mirror, we can never see what another sees.
