Typically
it just ends badly,
rather sadly
and usually abruptly.
Sometimes
I know of this,
often I do not.
I remember what
I said,
but the thought
in my head
leaves me vanquished,
anguished
and daunted.
Forever haunted
by the fact
that
my relationships end
(much to my chagrin)
bad.
I'm sad
though often glad
it's over.
Typically
that's it.
I just quit.
