That’s the nicest name
I can give you
A total narcissist
A human sponge
of self absorption

“I love me”
are you kidding?
you’re the only one
that does

The acoustic rhythm
of your conversation
is dull and flat
Yet somehow to you
its music to everyone’s

If I am ever in the passenger
seat driving somewhere
with you
and I jump from the
moving vehicle
~ please ~
Keep driving
its my means of
self preservation

As a medic
I’ve never known myself
to flat-line
but nothing exists
when you’re around
with the exception of

An entire generation
of commentary
to self professed confidence
and thick necked
college egos
An entire generation

“There is no one like me”
all I can do is look at
you and think
“Thank God for that”

Brilliant work! and so very thought provoking for mind as well as soul..sometimes we truly can only see roses when what we need to see is reality of ourselves..:) Wonderful!
