I don't like to keep numbers

Lying around in a Rolodex,

On my Palm Pilot, my cell phone

Or in an address book for that matter.

The fear is always quite real

That I'll just pick up the phone

And call someone, just because.

My guess is because I just don't do that,

It rarely happens to me as well.

Preferring the quiet life instead.

I enjoy the solace silence brings

As opposed to my just blurting out

So many stupid things

Which I tend to do anyway.
