Breakfast

by Anastasia Shows

Raindrops splish. splash.
as i walk alone in the rain.
I left my home, my wife, and the scarlet stain.
I loved her god, i swear to you; i did.
It's just i couldn't handle the reflection in the pot lid.
I saw his face locking lips with her, my beautiful wife.
So i grabbed the pit and ended his precious life.
Her eyes enlarged at the blood shed.
Enraged by this, i struck her too.
Flat upon the head.
So forgive me lord, i do so want to see the pearly gates;
nevermind the fact that i'm wanted in all fifty states.
