Nine One One: Emerge and See

I listened, remembering tears
while my ride changes gears
at the play by play
of our pain
and destruction that preyed
six years ago today

To bring death to dreams
from hiding and darkness
they came to emerge and see
If a death blow
in the land of the free
would bring terror and woe

and the terror god's trouble
the survivors can emerge and see
our God still reigns; One in three
our flag still waves
and we're still free.
