it started raining today
raining as hard as a tropical storm

i remember thinking as a kid
that rain
was gods tears

As much Jack Daniels
Is seeping into my blood stream as I'm
talking to myself (in my head)

Repeating over and over again
That I did the right thing
I can’t help but think of you

I became my worst nightmare:
Another woman crying in the shower

its raining today
maybe those are my tears
