I'm usually not very fond of Haiku, but I liked this piece- it is just so visual and that makes it very special.

reading through this one and thinking about it... makes me kind of hungry for something warm and soothing... just like your words...'buttermilk sunshine' .. do.. although I don't especially care for buttermilk.. go figure..lol..;-)
