A Child Of Your Own

by Dave Fitzgerald

Nothing can compare to the birth of your child,
A child of your fashioning, genetically styled.
Boy or girl, you don't really care
As long as all the digits are there.

Although it is said that pride cometh before the fall, in this case, methinks there are a papa's pride is a thing of beauty. Love this sweet poem and the sentiment it expresses.
