The Kind That Kills (Song Lyrics)

by Aaron Blair

He breaks the quiet of the night.
He puts her back against the door,
says "you never loved me,"
but if he liked it, then, tell me,
where, exactly, is the crime?

His face is like a fist,
clenched up and trembling.
With every tear he makes
a liar of himself, since he
always claimed he didn't cry.

And what is it about her
that makes it worth the fight?
The fix it'll take to make things
right once everything breaks
is going to be the kind that kills.

As many times as he asks her
to she will, she'll put him into
and then out of his misery,
hold him down, but he'll only care
that she's holding him at all.

Author's Note: I just had the first two verses, then I added the second two, and I think it's done, but maybe not, but probably, and anyway, I'll forget the tune, so it won't matter much.
