unseen

by Richard Trotter

Here is the breeze;
you stifle a yawn,
the faceless response
there's not even scorn
when my eyes are beacons
ablaze in the dawn-
inferno escapes you

ah, the sadness of feeling invisible... and the rage that blazes as sadness fades... brilliant piece, richard... write it out... and the flame will become a rainbow someday... blessings...

This is a very somber peice; I can almost see the emotion behind every word thats written. Very effective Richard.

You kindled old memories of love faded into ennui. Powerful stuff, Richard.
