Remember when... by Kalikala Smith Remember when... we used to sit on the hill, you and I. we'd argue over boys, and make up dances, and build forts, and have our magic tree. Remember when... we used to swing ourselves silly, and giggle, and sneak candy. Remember when... we dragged a 10 foot long pine branch, from the river all the way home, just to make a door for our "house." Remember when... you cried because the tree you were climbing, gave way and you thought you lost your shoe. Remember when... we were young, and fresh, and ready for life each day.
