nothing left

by Michele Schottelkorb

this is too much

   (too much)

for me

      (me~myself)

to handle

         (I try, I try)

we’ve come to an area

   (an area: void)

where more is required

      (expected)

and

there is

nothing left

         (at all)

to give

this resonates so in my soul Michele and asks the question what is left to give after we have given our all. Giving our all, in a world where it seems, never to be quite enough.

A state of helplessness presented in a beautiful poetic fashion. Will this hope take its toll and shatter love and faith?

I really life the style and brevity of this; definitely one for the 'less is more' file.

Very unique and well-written. I love the form.
