Audrey's Poems (3 year old analysis of Life)

by Michele Schottelkorb

little lady named Audrey
a girl named Michele with her
and Rob was there
and my bicycle was ruined
and I cried

9/5/03

blessings in poems
a beautiful lady
named Audrey Jean Marie
she has beautiful eyes ~ her mouth
she has beautiful flowers in her yard

9/5/03

I love you mommy
you have a beautiful dress
your eyes are as pretty as the sky
all the flowers are beautiful
you love me, mommy
whenever we go to summer's, I love you
I care about you
I care about you mommy

9/7/03

beautiful skies in the air
raindrops everywhere
skies are beautiful
and so is the grass
and kitties are nice
and Summer's beautiful
and everything that comes in
something that's a car
if it was mistaken
that nobody was here
and they died

9/5/03

beautiful eyes
pink dresses
and a game of fetch of ball
beautiful roses in her front yard
the smells of roses
and white snow
and today it's summer
and every morning I ride my bicycle
beautiful child
my mother takes me to summer's house
and I take my ball and play with summer
my hair is pink
beautiful sky is blue
I blow the bubbles everyday
and that's all

the end

Author's Note: my three year old daughter has been "writing" poems with me... these are straight from her mouth, to my ears to paper... we have been doing this for about a month... what wondrous creatures our children are!

WOW! Adds new meaning to the expression "out of the mouths of babes."

That is precious! This is a great idea that I hope to see more of! Great job.
