Pirate Love Song

by Michele Schottelkorb

yo ho yo ho
a pirate my Love tis
stole my heart
gave me his
precious, yes his is
yo ho yo ho
made of flesh and bones
supernatural, yet
he seems...
filled with loving tones
yo ho yo ho
I kneel at his side
picks me up
places me
where I needn't hide
yo ho yo ho
I love you oh so much
thank you dear
for loving me
with your softened touch

Author's Note: Happy Pirates Day (yes, I like many of you have no clue, but that's what I was told!) Since we are honoring pirates, I thought I'd post a poem I wrote for my favorite heart stealing pirate, my Husband... if you read it to the tune of Disney's "Pirates of the Carribean" song, it sounds better... I'd like to add more line, but this'll do for now :) p.s. it's "talk like a pirate day"... thank you :)

Yo ho ho! A fun romantic frolic amid the deep blue. Great chaser after just watching Hook for the umpteenth time.
