Saint Summer Breeze

by Emily Sullivan

I want to sail out of here
Exit this eden of dirty snow
To feel alive again
This time always seems
- Ah! My head aches -
Feverish, a blur
Needing to thrive off
That saint summer breeze
I live to see that river flow
My body stands still
With the frozen water
My soul is lost in that ice
Till the thaw
Spring be kind
End your dormant existance
Reveal your life to me
Before I am no more
