angular strikes penetrate through horizontal stripes
a squeaking mattress wails mockingly
breathless stammering and a flood of tears
lean close for time is precious
quaking and convulsing. a wall breaks down.

a sense of finality fills the room
frozen in time - mental images reign ethereal
fingers intertwined awkwardly
brave smiles plus chins pertruding made of glass
the moments we are most delicate are the most refined
