My heart and soul join forces
I cry out to the Universe
Shout to the skies for you, your very being

Opened me up with no hesitation
Exposed all that was locked away
Never scared of what you found

I've learned the definition of unconditional
Desiring the safety you provide
The freedom you provoke

An unexpected, but welcome gift
Blazing before me
These aren't tears of sadness
