Ode to the Goddess

Mother of Earth
Shine down upon us this night
We feel the ebb and flow of your love
Uniting us, a coven, within you
O dearest Goddess
Mother of the stars
Glisten over our sacred circle
We give our thanks to you alone
For you, are our iridescent light
O dearest Goddess
Mother of the moon
Pulsing ethereal projections
Creating energy within us all
Overcome with magick essence
O dearest Goddess
Mother of all
Keep us forever in your heart
We reside in you, as you reside in us
Always in your infinite care

I don't know much about this practice, except that it worships the goddess(mother earth)and treat the earth with respect. Here you incorporate all of nature as an equal in your circle, but still something to be worshipped. Balance between the elements, the circle, and the goddess appear to be essential. I really enjoyed reading your poem. ;-)
