Regrets

by Amanda L Marron

i miss our late night conversations

they ended so early in the morning

i miss having you know every feeling within me

with just one glance into your eyes

i miss the emotions that flowed through me

when i'm with you, surrounded by your aura

i miss the way we used to be friends

it seems so long ago

i miss how we were inseparable

never once letting anyone get between us

it's too late now

i can't turn back the time

i'm filled to the brim with regrets

they're spilling over the edge

as falling tears down my face

i'm down on my knees

begging for your return to me
