comfort in a time of need
is often hard to find
a warning i could not heed
from the consolation in my mind.

everyone is happy to say
that they will be there to help
but i always solitarily pay
for this they only shortly felt

this is why i now console
and cry on my own shoulder
for i am pulling out of this hole
and learning and growing older

it is not a major concern
just on that is hard to discern.
