as if to demean us
"yup," i said

"does that change
how you treat us?"
"or is it strange
that we "blindly" trust?"

discrimination and
close-minded individuals
cite the evils of religion
and their ills

saying that we're
focused on excluding
but in reality we're
obsessed with including

once you've found what our modern society has lost
you find the ignorance of others proves to have a great cost
