There is a fire
Burning bright in your eyes-
Red-hot like molten lava
That threatens to overcome me;
Searing my soul to its core.
My body tenses;
Aching for release,
Your gaze pins me,
Startled, I give pause
Only to be engulfed by the
Roaring flames.
