Since my page won’t let me post anything except in here...

Black tourmaline

I left but stayed
At the very same time
You stayed but left

Letters filled my mailbox this summer
No address though
Not sure they were meant for me
But I read them all
Over and over
And I think you know that

I’ll admit I’m way out of my league here
But it’s the only avenue
Your poems...
Everyone should read them
And If nothing else
I hope you keep writing

You stood in front of everyone and spoke your most commited words
And now the universe is nudging me to do the same
Change is imminent
But not a moment too soon,
“Your theme in life is waiting”

This is my first and last goodbye
In a world where
they don’t mean much anymore

I don’t forgive myself for being a catalyst of the events that occurred
Comparison will be the death of me
it’s time to unplug
Solace is what I crave
In this cold quiet winter
As my nose and fingers lose feeling
I ask for answers from the
black tourmaline sky
The wind howls in an eerie response
And I wait
