by Dodder banks The River Dodder winds its way from the Wicklow Hills and Dublin Mountains to the River Liffey and the sea in Dublin. Its name derives from the Irish word, Dothra or turbulent. This reflects its dramatic changes of mood over its short length from bog to sea.
