Bear Island

We spent 13 days here. Started out with a thunderstorm that turned into heavenl sunshine and bliss. No people! For real. Only access is by Ferry. We brought our canoe and I was paralleling the beach when a school of dolphins appeared and escorted me. Most awesome. The history is cool too. I love North Carolina.
