Stairwell Sniper by Nicole D GregoryThere's no way
I'm harvesting
my savings
to pay for things
So I stole a watch
on my way to the police station
figuring I might as well
know the time
if I'm gonna do the crime
And I put myself in
solitary confinement
in my stairwell
stuck
halfway between
not there yet
and
never quite finished
When in actuality
it is pointed out
to me
it could quite possibly be
I like being lazy
